HVAC Utility Rebates in Kansas City, MO
Upgrading your home’s HVAC system can significantly improve your comfort and reduce your energy bills. According to Energy.gov 43% of a typical home utility bill goes to heating and cooling costs, meaning upgrading the efficiency of these units can lead to significant savings.
For the past 5 years, the Heating, Cooling, & Home Comfort Program from Evergy helped make energy-efficient HVAC upgrades more affordable, allowing Missouri customers to save energy and money. This program helped customer make energy efficient upgrades by offering rebates when customers replaced older HVAC equipment with newer more efficient models.
In the fall of 2024 Evergy announced that the program would be ending in on December 31st, 2024.
Buckner’s wants to continue to help homeowners make these energy-efficient upgrades affordable in 2025 so we are continuing to offer the rebate to customers who install new HVAC Equipment this January. As per the program, customers can earn:
- $550-$800 for Air Conditioners
- $650-$1200 for Heat Pumps
- $650 for Heat Pump Water Heaters
